I am new at this whole blogging thing, but i thought i would give it a try. Anyways CHANGE is my topic tonight. Change can be challenging for some and for others change just comes natural. For me, I adore change! I love trying new things, seeing new places and venturing out to a new world of what i am used too.
Here is a little background on my little families life. I say little family because at the moment we are a family of TWO. Me and My loving husband Cory, he is my other half I do not know what i would do with out that man. He gives me strength every day to be who I am and more. I met Cory in 2009, I was only 17 and just started my senior year at Tahlequah High. The first day i met him, i had an overwhelming feeling that I would one day marry him. Very strange for me, considering i was only 17 and still in high school. but none the less I fell deeply in love with him. We began dating in September of 2009 little did we know how much CHANGE we would expirience just in the next 1l months. My parents seperated shortly after Cory and i began dating, which created a lot of CHANGE in my family. Even more CHANGE came about in May of 2010. Cory proposed to me and I said YES, I graduated a few weeks later and began planning our wedding....So much fun... and a lot of stress! Planning a wedding in two months was not easy.... We then were married on July 22, 2010. :)
We bought our home in muskogee where we have lived since. Which brings me to my next statement on CHANGE. Cory and i bought the house believing that we were going to stay there and raise our children there right where he grew up and never moved. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with staying in the same place all your life, BUT... for me i love change....my sweet sweet husband is one of those people who CHANGE doesn't come quite as easy too. He was very skeptical of wanting to ever move away from his home town. Eventually something came over him where he decided we needed a CHANGE in our little families life.
We moved this past week from a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 1540 SQ FT home to a little 1 bed 1 bath 786 SQ FT apartment in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. BIG CHANGE for us. We are loving it so far! He now only has a 15 min drive to work instead of an hour drive. More time together! :) We have decided to try and live a little more simple, it was a CHANGE that God saw we needed, though there has been some tough sacrifices made, this CHANGE was needed. I am excited to see how we handle this CHANGE and what new things are to come of it. I will be sure to keep an update of our START OF SOMETHING NEW.
